Painting wood block figures by the kitchen table is pure distraction to me. The old picture shows that I´ve liked creating stuff by a kitchen table for a long time. I think I´m about eleven in this one. Some things never change, except the haircut maybe. That line reminds me of a song I used to like:
wood block figures
I went through my roughs just to see if I had completed ideas that I´ve had. It´s about a week to the exhibition now and I know I´ve done my hundred figures. But maybe just some more, just a small fallback. Let´s call me a party-wood-block-painter (like being a party-smoker if you understand what I mean):-).
..is candyday. I ´ve always loved the refreshers caramel. I like when good design looks the same over the years. And speaking of candy, how sweet isn´t the koala bear? I mean the real one, even if I´m pleased with my own.
I have some new shelves in my room so now I have somewhere to place all the wooden figures. But it wasn´t space enough so I had to put some behind aswell. Another 10 and then I´m done. I think it´s going to look fun at the exhibition. And a bit crazy.
I know the Little Red Riding Hood doesn´t meet a racing car but I didn´t feel like painting a wolf.
