Animania

Design Temple presents ANIMANIA, a vibrant and whimsical show on the Sacred Animals of India. It fuses the playful interpretations of 7 graphic artists from across the globe with a subject of much gravitas in Indian mythology.

So if you´re in Mumbai, don´t miss the show.

I´m happy to be part of this project and have learnt a little about Hindu Mythology. We are 7 graphic artists and together we have done 12 animals. It has resulted in a diary with a planner notebook for 12 months. And maybe posters aswell, I don´t really know. The products are not on the site yet as far as I can see.

My contribution is the parrot, vehicle of Kamdeva (God of love and desire) and the owl, vehicle of Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth). Read more about the project here. And see all the illustrations here.

Christmas fair

I KNOW I have written about the Christmas cards before but when they are at the lovely Print & Pattern blog I have to mention them again.

And speaking of Christmas, next weekend I will be part of a Christmas fair arranged by friend Janette Bornmaker. We are going to be six exhibitors and I will sell posters, puzzles, tea towels and my plates. See more here.

Inspiration

My dear neighbour

..did it again! She found two children´s books and a little candle holder for me at a second hand store the other day . It´s good to have a fleamarket-oholic around the corner. Thank you Åsa.
