I had a lovely weekend in Mörtfors/Småland. Very inspiring.
We went to several flea markets. I bought the little donkey, wonderful children´s books and coffe cups. Lena had a good day and filled the luggage space. I warmly recommend Tre Århundraden in Berga, an antique store and café.

When I went to the grocery store the other day it was a small flea market outside. Guess how happy I was when I found this book.

I went to one of my best friends who lives in Sigtuna, a very picturesque town north of Stockholm, this weekend. She´s a real esthete and it´s wonderful to be in their house.
We have pretty much the same taste (her´s a bit more exclusive than mine) and she always appreciate the second hand things I buy to her. Here are some examples. We could never go on a flea market trip together (as I´ve been writing about before) because we would go for the same stuff.
And she has my portraits on the wall.
Last spring my sister-in-law and I did a three-day-trip and visited several flea markets and second hand shops in Östergötland (a county west of Stockholm). It was off season and it was SO nice to visit small towns where we hadn´t been before. We have completely diffrent taste so we never want the same stuff. And we found a lot. Here´s a coffee set I found at Borensbergs Second hand. This spring we will go up north.
