I have so many notes everywhere of things I would like to do; paintings, products, fabrics etc. That is the freelances dilemma. You work on your own because you have a job that you love, but you can´t say no to jobs so your own ideas often ends up in the drawer. I think it is good to have one project on your own per year. Last year I did all my portraits; I wonder what I shall do this year?
Detail illustrations from an old idea that I maybe should bring back to life.
My dad often goes to antiquarian book-shops and when I was a child I thought it was kind of boring if I had to go with him. Today I love it aswell, as you might have understood. It´s good that he knows my taste because then he can look out for nice old children´s books. This one I got yesterday.
