Here comes a really old one; an old poster for the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration. I painted it in acrylic 15 (!) years ago.
Posters
…to all of you! I hope you will come back next year. Now: Champagne.
It feels nice that my posters are sold at the Modern Museum of Arts´ web shop. I am among my old idols; I LOVED Modigliani when I was young and pretentious (and still do, but I am neither young or very pretentious anymore) and I love Calder. Here he hangs on our kitchen wall:
And this is nice:
I got my UNICEF-poster and it looked fun when it was rolled up, like a trunk with the animals inside.
Another observant friend called me yesterday and said that she had seen one of my posters in a TV program (Halv åtta hos mig, a cooking show). They were at the home of Ilias who has a wonderful cooffe-bar, Cocovaja.
Speaking of fame, today you can read about Loka Kanarps´ book Pärlor och Patroner, 60 historical woman portraits in DN. Very nicely illustrated.
