Inspiration
As I´ve said before I always look for old cookbooks when I go to antiquarian book shops. The old ones, from the 50´s, often has nice covers and if you´re lucky, they are also illustrated inside. And this one is my favorite of all my cookbooks.
But I don´t like to cook, I´m lucky to have a husband who does that.
One could think that I was trapped in a time warp last weekend. Some houses, stores and signs are really well kept in small villages. As if time has stopped.
I´ve made my first purchase at Tradera, an auction site. I got 44 small Dutch sugar-bags from Shell from the 50´s. Yummy.
I was so lucky when I found the Christmas plates and the bowl. Even if I don´t look forward to winter right now I´ll be happy when I will set the table with them. God, I sound like an old housewife.
