The flea market is over and it went really well. Here are some images from my neighbours table and below my findings. I did sell more stuff than I bought!
Inspiration
I sometimes think of the giant assignments that illustrators in the past had. I have several old fact books on the theme ”Our world” where the whole world and the society are pictured. I wonder how they did, I mean they didn´t have Google if they wanted to know how an armadillo looked like.
I started the day with a bikeride in to town because I had to leave my book-keeping to the accountant. Such a relief to be done with some paper works. Then I stopped by Stadsmissionen/Nytorget and there I found a tray, a couple of nice coffee cups and a little table cloth. My friend Cattis has made the design for Sofo Bread Shop so I had to pick up some sour bread on my way home. Then I walked the dog. A good day so far.
One thing that I would like to do someday is to illustrate a cook book. Any editor out there reading my blog:-)?
Two small cook books (with relief print on plastic cover) I found in the best antiquarian book shop in Stockholm, Alfa.
I wonder for how long I can use the stuff in my house to show you things that inspires me. For quite a while I think; when I walk around with my camera I always find new details and angles.
